For some time now I was playing with the idea how'd Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye's children look like and act. Plotbunnies just didn't leave me alone, so I ran with them; I started the project, before I've finished the older (Homonculi) one. There used to be only two of them, a girl and a boy, but soon enough the girl splitted up two.
Now I'm nearly done with all the three, so yeah, enjoy!

First of all I can't draw males! D: Plus I find them too hard to have fun with in designing, so I lost my attention on him anyway... In my very first idea he was a cool guy, a rebel, an... an Edward Elric-wannabe, but a real artistic, loveable goon; just to make his daddy a nervous wreck XD
My no.1 critic, my lil' brother said he was a piece of shit; he MUST be an alchemy freak, a prodigy. So I decided to get the two idea together, so he's officially my very first Gary Stru 8D XDDD

Maes was an unexpected child, born within a year after his sister. As a boy, he was greatly treasured, but not spoiled; his parents didn't want him becoming the beloved child, so they treted him just like his sisters.
In his early years he always wanted to be the best, the most appreciated one, but when he earned teen-age, he completely changed; he didn't care of anything or anybody but his guitar and alchemy, hardly communicating or paying any attention to his parents.
He's a very talented alchemist, and he wants to join the military as soon as possible. His father's dead against it so he's even more desperate.
His weakness is physical strength, which he hates when someone points out.
He don't pay much attention to stuff like the boys of his age, like chicks, though he's quite popular among them; there's only one lady he'd be interested in, and that's First Lieutenant Elysia Hughes ( 8D one more reson to join the army; but kept for himself wisely).

As he was unexpected, both of his parents asked someone to be his godfather/mother, without checking the other's idea: Riza asked Cain Fuery, while Roy thought of Gracia Hughes; so Maes has a godfather and also a godmother..^^
